Recipe(tried): Surprise Burgers (yeast dough stuffed with meat filling, makes 25)

FOR THE DOUGH:
6 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 pkg yeast
2 cups lukewarm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
FOR THE MEAT FILLING:
2 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
1 TBSP garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour
2 cups grated cheese
Melted butter (for brushing)
TO PREPARE DOUGH:
Sift flour, 2 teaspoons salt, and sugar together; set aside.
Dissolve yeast in 2 cups lukewarm water. Add water-yeast mixture to flour mixture. Add oil. Mix well. Cover and let rise until double in size. Punch down and knead well.
WHILE DOUGH IS RISING, PREPARE MEAT FILLING:
Cook meat, onion, garlic, and 1 teaspoon salt until done. Add flour until meat sticks together. Cool meat slightly. Add grated cheese to meat mixture and stir well.
TO MAKE THE BURGERS:
Pinch off a roll size piece of dough and flatten in a circle. Put 1/4 cup of meat filling in center and pull dough around meat to make a roll. Place on cookie sheet; brush with oil and let rise 15 to 20 minutes.
Bake at 375 degrees F until light brown. Brush with butter.
