Here's the recipe for my favorite Teriyaki chicken and sauce

Teriyaki Chicken (Teriyaki Chicken )

Ingredients
Chicken breasts 4
Soy sauce 1/2 cup
Sake 1/2 cup
Mirin 1/2 cup
Sugar 1/4 cup
Rice vinegar 2 teaspoons
Sesame seeds 1-1/2 teaspoon
Corn starch 1 tablespoon, mixed with 3 tablespoons water

Method
Debone chicken breasts but leave the skin on so that chicken will be juicier.
Sauce: mix soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, rice vinegar, and sesame seeds in a
small saucepan. Use 1/2 cup of this sauce for marinade. Marinate chicken
breasts for at least 2 hours. Grill chicken until done, about 5 minutes each
side. Simmer teriyaki sauce for 10 minutes to reduce it then add corn starch in
a steady stream. Keep stirring until it thickens then remove form heat. Serving
sugestion: Slice each chicken breast into 8 pieces then arrange on top of
Japanese rice. Drizzle teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
