Recipe(tried): Flaming Shrimp (French)
Appetizers and SnacksFlaming Shrimp/flambeau
(French appetizer,elegant & easy)
1 lb. shrimps, shelled & deveined with tails intact
4 tb butter
salt
Freshly ground pepper
Minced fresh dill
1/2 cup rum, warmed
Saut shrimp in butter over medium heat until meat is pink. Add salt, pepper & dill to taste. Pour rum over shrimp & carefully ignite. Serve at once.
