Recipe(tried): Thanksgiving Slaw

Thanksgiving Slaw

1 Small Head of Cabbage sliced thin
or 1 Pkg Prepared Sliced Slaw
4 Chopped Green Onions
1 Pkg Ramen Chicken Noodle Soup
1/2 Cup Sliced Toasted Almonds
2 Tbsp Sunflower Seeds

Break up the ramen noodles in packaging and cook for 3 minutes without the seasoning. Drain and rinse well with cold water. Drain again.
Mix cabbage slaw with green onions and add noodles. Refrigerate (can be refrigerated overnight with cover).

Toast almonds in skillet with small amount of oil. Drain and cool.

Dressing: Refrigerate overnight so that flavors can mingle

2 Tbsp Sugar or Splenda
1/2 Cup Canola Oil
3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 tsp Pepper
Salt to Taste
10-15 Cilantro Leaves Chopped
Flavor Package from Ramen Chicken Noodles

Add dressing to slaw about 1-2 hours before serving.
Add almonds and sunflower seeds to slaw immediately before serving and mix well.

I have been making this recipe for several years and friends keep asking for the recipe. It's wonderful!
