TROPIC SUN SPARERIBS
4 lb spareribs (or country-style pork ribs)
3 large cloves garlic, pressed
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 large onion
1/4 cup water
1 (20 oz.) can dole crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Rub ribs with garlic.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange onion in large baking pan. Place ribs on top. Add 1/4 cup water to pan. Cover with foil.
Bake in 350-degree F oven 30 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients. Spoon over ribs. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour longer. S
