Recipe: Tuna Puffs for Barb

Appetizers and Snacks
Dear Barb,
Might one of these be the recipe?

Tuna Puffs

Beat in bowl:
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Add and mix well:
1 medium can tuna

Add:
1 tablespoon baking powder
Enough flour to make a stiff batter

Drop by teaspoons into hot oil. Turn once. These puff up and brown quickly. You can bake these in oven, also. Salmon can be substituted.

Tuna Puffs

1 (7 oz.) can Tuna
1/2 cup flour or less
1 1/2 cups onion, chopped fine
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg

Drain oil from Tuna into bowl. Add egg; beat well. Add baking powder, flaked Tuna, onion and just enough flour to thicken so it will drop from a tsp. Drop from spoon into deep, hot oil, brown. Drain on paper towels.
