Recipe(tried): Twice-Baked Almond Croissants

Thanks for the great recipe! I made these last night and we loved them....I didn't have a vanilla bean, so I substituted a 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract in the syrup recipe and it worked. I thought I'd have to wait till a trip to Ely,MN to have these croissants again, but now I can have them whenever I want. :) Thanks again.
