Recipe: Very Berry Frozen Yogurt or Banana Frozen Yogurt (ice cream machine)

VERY BERRY FROZEN YOGURT

1 pint (2 cups) fresh strawberries (or raspberries)
1/3 cup sugar
1 container (2 lb) Yoplait 99% Fat Free creamy vanilla or creamy strawberry yogurt (4 cups)

In large bowl, mash strawberries with sugar. Stir in yogurt.

Pour strawberry mixture into 2-quart ice-cream freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions. (A 1-quart ice-cream freezer can be used. Just divide the ingredients in half.)

Scoop into serving dishes or ice-cream cones.

VARIATION:

BANANA FROZEN YOGURT:
Substitute 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (3 medium) for the strawberries.

Makes 12 servings
