Recipe: Grands Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches (using biscuits for buns)
SandwichesGRANDS BUFFALO CHICKEN SANDWICHES
1/4 cup red pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
5 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 1/4 Ib), pounded to 1/4-inch thickness
4 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided use
1 (10.2 pz) can Pillsbury' Grands Homestyle refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough (5 biscuits)
4 leaves lettuce
1/4 cup blue cheese dressing
In 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish, mix pepper sauce, garlic powder and pepper Add chicken; turn to coat both sides. Let stand at room temperature 20 minutes to marinate.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat 2 teaspoons of the oil over medium heat. Add 2 or 3 chicken breasts; cook 10 to 13 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink in center Remove chicken from skillet; keep warm. Repeat with remaining chicken breasts.
Meanwhile, bake biscuits as directed on can.
TO SERVE:
Split warm biscuits. Top bottom half of each biscuit with lettuce, chicken, 1 tablespoon dressing and top halves of biscuits.
Makes 5 sandwiches
