Recipe(tried): Very Simple and Good Crockpot Lasagna, Tossed Salad, and Garlic Bread

Menus
This Lasagna is really good! As a matter of fact there are very few recipes I like cooked in the crockpot (whatever I cook in them tends to be rubbery or just not up to par. Probably my fault as I know other people are good at & love crockpot cookery. Just not my thing I guess.)This is one of the recipes I do like & that turns out great in the crockpot, please give it a try, I think you will like it too. :)

CROCKPOT LASAGNA

1 box rotini (or Ziti, I use rotini)
2 jars (28 oz. each) pasta sauce of your choice
1 egg
1 lb. very lean ground beef
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 bag mozzarella cheese
16 to 20 oz. ricotta cheese
2 eggs
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
dash salt & black pepper

Grease crockpot or spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Cook rotini according to package directions (slightly undercook by a few minutes), drain.

Brown meat; drain.

Toss pasta with olive oil. Add pasta sauce, toss well. Stir together parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, 1/2 bag mozzarella cheese, and browned meat. Can sprinkle lightly with garlic powder.

Beat together ricotta, 2 eggs, parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper. Pour half of pasta/sauce/meat mixture into crockpot. Spread entire ricotta mixture over first layer of pasta. Cover ricotta layer with remaining pasta mixture and cover with remaining cheese.

Cover with lid and cook on low 4-6 hours.
