Recipe: Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

We enjoy these at our house:
WHOLE WHEAT BUTTERMILK PANCAKES
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vegetable oil
Stir together dry ingredients. Beat egg, milk, and oil
together and add to dry ingredients. Stir just until
blended. Pour batter onto greased hot griddle. Serve with
syrup, fruit slices, or applesauce.
Makes 12 4" pancakes.
