Winter Mandarin Orange Salad with Celery Seed Dressing
Love this salad in the winter as it's "cheery".

Judging from your Floridian Breeze salad Gina...I thought this might appeal to you and others here.

Celery Seed Dressing:
1 cup oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 small onion, grated
9 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. celery seed

Blend in a blender or mix ingredients together.

NOTE: This makes a lot of dressing so you may want to cut the recipe in half.

Salad:
Mixed greens such as 1 head of iceberg and 1 head of leaf lettuce. I usually have green leaf and red leaf or boston and leaf lettuce. Use what you like.

1 can french fried onions
1 can mandarin oranges and 1/2 cup to 1 cup toasted pecans.

Place your prepared lettuces in a bowl. Sprinkle onion rings, mandarin oranges and pecans on top.

Pour on celery seed dressing when ready to serve and toss.

NOTE: This is a large salad so again cut it in half to suit your needs.
