ISO: Beef Jerky

Hello to Betsey, Jim S. and the rest of the gang @ TKL
Greetings from S. Jersey - it's been a couple of weeks since I've
been on.... got into a fight with a utility knife (and the foot surgery)
but everythings great, just a little slow in the typing dept.

Had some hot & spicy beef jerky (from SnackMasters) and it was
really GOOD. Tasted like "Slim Jims but with only one gram of fat
per 1 oz. Unforunately, the meat works out to be over $12.00 per
lb. Does anyone have a recipe for a hot and spicy jerky? I can
borrow the machine to dried it out - just looking for the spices/
recipe. It's been fun and will post again soon. Betsey - keep up
the good work :-)
