SUGAR COOKIES

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
Cream butter and mix well with sugar; add beaten egg yolks.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add this mixture to the above, alternating with the cream. Add vanilla, chill for one hour.
Roll and cut. Sprinkle with sugar before baking in a moderate oven (350
to 375 degrees F) for 10 - 12 minutes.
