ISO: Beet Salad with Fruit Cocktail

There use to be a restaurant in Buena Park, CA called Arnold's Farmhouse. I would go there with my parents and grandparents and the food was wonderful. I remember one salad they always had which was made with beets, fruit cocktail and I think it had whipped cream in the dressing. I have never found a recipe for anything even close and was hoping someone may have a recipe for something similar. Thank you ahead of time for your assistance.
