ISO: black walnut jelly didn't set

I just made the recipe for the Black walnut jelly last night. I was so excited to find it. I fear I did something wrong...or something went wrong. I follewed the directions completely and the jelly has still not set up after 24 hours.
Any ideas as to what could have gone wrong and how to fix it. This was an experience experiment. I still so want it to turn out correctly if at all possible. Someone please help. Thank you in advance.
