ISO: candy cake roll

candy cake roll was the name in the parade magazine where i originally found it 40 years ago.you bake the chocolate layer (choc. chips, flour,sweetened condensed milk, etc.)dump onto dish towel covered in powdered sugar, spread butterscotch mixture over all, and roll like jelly roll.

wrap in waxed paper then in foil. freeze thaw and slice then refreeze.

this seems to be an annual pilgrimage to find this recipe, as i can't seem to hold onto my copy more than a year.

can someone out there without old-timers help me aghain this year?
