ISO: Chocolate Shortbread Christmas Cookies (1980's - 90's)

I'm looking for a Chocolate Cookie recipe that was in Gourmet Magazine as part of a Christmas Cookie Collection around the late 80's maybe early to mid 90's.

They were made with Cocoa and used confectioners sugar instead of regular sugar. They may or may not have been dipped in chocolate (I didn't dip them) but they were really great. I made them only at Christmas and have lost the recipe and can not find it any where!
