ISO: colored mini marshmallows inside a chocolate covered log roll

Years ago my mom's friend would bring us a Yule log each year that was full of pastel colored mini marshmallows and other ingredients, then dipped or rolled in chocolate. I loved it, but never got the recipe. I'd like to make it for my grand-children if anyone has the recipe. Thanks! Cindy
