ISO: Cooking Fresh Kielbasa

I've been asked to bring "Fresh Kielbasa" for Christmas Dinner . . . How do you cook it?? I've heard it needs to be cooked quite a while, but I dont want it to be dried out. I just know someone out there knows how to cook it. Do you think I could do it in a crock pot?
