ISO: Creamed Potatoes with Turnips

WHEN I LIVED AT HOME, ONCE IN A WHILE, MY MOTHER WOULD MAKE CREAMED POTATOES AND ADD TURNIP TO IT. I DON'T KNOW IF SHE USED 1 OR 2 TURNIPS ALONG WITH THE POTATOES. MADE JUST ONCE IN A BLUE MOON WAS SURPRISING AND DELICIOUS. I DON'T THINK THEY WOULD BE GOOD MADE EVERY TIME. ONCE IN A WHILE WAS A PLEASANT AND WONDERFUL TASTE IN OUR MOUTHS! DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO MAKE THIS SO IT STILL TASTES LIKE CREAMED POTATOES AND NOT JUST TURNIP?
