Recipe(tried): Creamed Potatoes with Turnips mmm good

Hi: I thought my mother was the only one who added turnips to her mashed potatoes.
We generally have them on Thanksgiving or Christmas, But, I enjoy them so much I now have them other times of the year.

As far as a recipe goes, it is simple.
I generally make a large quantity of regular mashed potatoes. Then take out what I want for the Turnip mashed potatoes and just add enough cooked turnips to give it a light turnip taste.
Sometimes I add more.
But, I would suggest about for every two and a half pounds of regular potatoes, I would add about
1 small to medium cooked turnip and whip together.
