Recipe: Party Meatballs (Campbell's Easy Holiday Cooking)

PARTY MEATBALLS

1 (10 3/4 ounce) can Campbell's Condensed Italian Tomato Soup, divided use*
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. packed brown sugar

Mix 1/4 cup (undiluted) soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, and Worcestershire thoroughly and shape firmly into 48 (1/2-inch) meatballs. Arrange in 15x10-inch jelly-roll pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink.

In large saucepan mix remaining (undiluted) soup, 1/2 cup water, vinegar, and sugar. Over medium heat, heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add meatballs and heat through.

*Condensed tomato soup may be substituted. Add Italian seasoning and/or basil and oregano to taste.
