This really brought back memories reading your turnips and potatoes.Our grandparents grew turnips and we as kids hated them.We always said,grandma made the worlds best mashed baked potatoe casserole ever. years later found out she was adding turnips to them with cheese on top and browned them in the oven.I can still see her snicker about those turnips. Now I make them for my family with a little chopped gr. onions and they tear them up. Try this,you will no doubt like them. Bonnie, Ohio
