ISO: Cushman Bakery Marigold Cupcakes

When I was a child an ancient friend of the family would always bring a box of Marigolds when she'd visit.
She brought two flavors: Chocolate and Orange(?)
They were indeed shaped like truncated pyramids, although they were round at the base, not square.
They basically looked like upside-down cupcakes.
The chocolate ones were black cake with shiny chocolate icing.
The yellow ones were white(?) lemon (?) orange (?) cake with orange color icing.
If you Google the image, none of the pictures show the correct Marigold.
I hope someone can come up with the correct recipe!
