ISO: Cut out 3-D star cookies

I have been trying to find a holiday cookie recipe without any luck. These were cut out star cookies that you would cut a notch in before you baked them. After they were baked, you would attach the cookies at the notch so that they would stand up--3D Star Shaped cookies. Anybody have a clue?
