ISO: Dark Glazed Bread (like the kind served at McGuire's Irish Pub in Pensacola, FL)
Misc. While my husband was training with the USAF in Pensacola, FL, we used to frequent Mcguire's Irish Pub with our friends. My favorite thing about the McGuire's experience was the warm bread brought to the table before the food was served. It was a very dark, brown batter (a quick bread possibly) and had a heavenly, sweet honey or molasses glaze on top.
If anyone has this recipe or a similar one, please post it. I would love to surprise my husband with a loaf of it for his birthday in June. Thank you so much!
