ISO: Fire and Ice Pickles

I am looking for a recipe called Fire and Ice Pickles. They are made using store bought dill pickles then adding sugar, hot peppers and garlic. My friends love them and I have lost my recipe. I originally found the recipe in a "gifts from your kitchen" holiday magazine but don't remember which one. Please help me if you can. Thank you.
