ISO: Gina: Question about Strawberry Bread

Maybe you can help me. I've tried to bake with strawberries a couple of times (bread once and muffins another time) and each time even though I followed the recipe exactly my bread and muffins totally fell apart! Is there a trick to baking with strawberries? Both times I used fresh ones. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.
