Recipe: Cantaloupe Sorbet (ice cream machine or freezer)

Desserts - Frozen
CANTALOUPE SORBET

1 large ripe cantaloupe
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. Sugar

Halve cantaloupe, remove seeds, and cut pulp from rind. Cut cantaloupe into cubes. Combine in blender or food processor with sugar an lemon juice. Puree until smooth.

Turn into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

ALTERNATE FREEZING INSTRUCTIONS:
This will make more of a slush than a sorbet. Follow all above directions until the puree is smooth. Place in a container in the freezer and freeze until slushy, beat again before serving.
