ISO: Has anyone ever heard of Kimche?

Misc.
I use to work with a girl from Korea, she would make this stuff she called Kimchi, I know I've spelled it wrong, I've checked everywhere on the web and yes I did get the correct spelling but have forgotten it, anyway, I remember she had rice in it of course, cucumbers, onions, seseme seeds and more but the sauce was kinda hot...she said she would let it sit over night...I've tried to contact her but no luck besides...last time she really couldn't explain it to me, so if anyone out there knows what I'm talking about....PLEASE post....when I was pregnant I craved this all the time...still do and not pregnant!
Thanks a Bunch!!!!
