ISO: HELP! Need cheap dinner party ideas for six

Hello,

I am a student and myself and two others have to do a dinner party in two weeks for a final school practical. We have been given the task of preparing a full dinner for six which must include an entree, main and dessert. It must also be fairly cheap to make and can be made with not too much effort!

To top it off one of the people we will be serving on the night is a vegetarian and we need to cater to her also, by adding some vegetable dishes into the menu.

I would welcome any ideas and am desperate to get a menu plan by the end of this week!
