I've been using a quarter cup of de-ionized water in the same freezer bag with the bananas and they're still looking good after three weeks. If lemon juice is better, then I will try that only in a diluted solution with the de-ionized water. be sure to turn the bag to coat the bananas with the water or diluted lemon juice.
