ISO: Hostess Fruit Pies?
Misc.Does anyone have a copycat recipe for Hostess Fruit Pies?
I have been making "hand pies" using my regular pie dough. And, they are wonderful---however, the dough is really flaky and tender, so sometimes they fall apart or break.
I need a pie dough recipe that is a little "sturdier," and what came to mind was the Hostess Fruit Pies I used to like when I was a child.
Does anyone have a copycat for Hostess Fruit Pies or can you suggest a way to make a sturdier pie dough?
Thanks in advance!
