ISO: hungarian spongecake
Misc.Hello, My great grandmother was from Hungary, the town she came from is now presently part of Russia My mother remembera spongecake she made that was really big in height and contained lemon and rice. They never got the recipe before she died and still to this day talk about how good big, moist and wonderful this cake was. I was wondering if anyone knows of a recipe like this, I am not sure if it was something she learned in america or if it was hungarian(russian or austrian)Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Jennifer
