Gladys, I have been following the "Ponche Romano cake episode from the postings. I too can not get any information on this recipe. I have never heard of this style cake before. Being that you have seen & tasted this cake can you be more descriptive of it???. I ask because I cannot imagine that between you & I that we can perhaps duplicate a accepted version of this cake. EXAMPLE, where in the cake is the Crema??? Where in the cake is the Fruit, ete, is it a white cake, sponge cake, angel food cake, so forth & so on. I will leave it up to you if you wish to go thru this challenge. If we suceed we will then place the recipe in "LA COCINA DE MAMA GLADYS" authored by GLADYS & SECRET PAL.
