ISO: Judy/Quebec's Streusel Coffee Cake - question

This recipe says to add baking soda in the instructions but does not list it as an ingredient so I did not know how much should be in the recipe? I just put it in the oven and added 1/2 tsp of baking soda thinking it would at least put some into it. I will post later with the results. I know this recipe was posted many years ago making the chance of response slim to none.
