ISO: Kitchenaid Pasta Attachment - How do you do the dough?

Misc.
Maybe I'm just hopeless, but I just got the kitchenaid accessory for making pasta. I can't figure out how to get those nice, thin, nearly perfect, long rectangles that are then fed into the noodle cutter. My accessories include the rollers to thin and shape the dough - so far - I know I don't know how to properly use this. I haven't gotten far enough to know if can figure out the noodle cutters or not. So far I'm just making flour leather. And its not even even! Can someone tell me how to do this? Thanks
