ISO: La Bamba Style Hot Sauce

There is a Mexican restaurant in the midwest named La Bamba's. They make a great burrito but the best part is their hot sauce. Since the one in my town closed about two years ago, I've been trying to figure out how to make something similar or if another company makes something similar. It is apparently a well guarded recipe but if anyone knows how to make something pretty close, I would be very greatful. Thanks - Mike
