Misc.Hi Mary,
Spoon fudge sounds yummy too! The cocoa in the recipe is powdered cocoa (not the hot cocoa beverage). Using softened butter instead of melted will help reduce the moisture content - if you make a new batch you can also try beating in more powdered sugar.
Here's a different recipe that should work out well:
Creamy Mocha Fudge Using Sweetened Condensed Milk (click here)
And here's a tried and true recipe for Hershey's Cocoa Fudge (click here) - you experiment with a mocha version by adding strong coffee in place of a couple tablespoons of the milk.
Let us know if how the experiments are going!

Hi Betsy,
Um put it in the freezer for a while but it did not stand. I now have what my mom calls spoon fudge. well im trying to figure out why it is so runny. I just made coffee I am figuring it is the liquid right? I really want to make this and share it because the mix tastes just great but I cant get it to set up. Um do you think if I did not melt the butter all the way or just let it get soft that would help. Oh one more when it calls for cocoa is the baking cocoa or hot cocoa?
