ISO: preserving citrus zest

Misc.
Is there an easy way to preserve lemon (and other citrus friut) zest? My grandmother has a few trees and we have made a ton of juice for the freezer, but would love to be able to either freeze or dry the zest for later use. Are either of these methods successful? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
