ISO: Question re: comforter covers

Misc.

Doing a hated chore today -- washing the cover for my down comforter. I hate
it because it is such a pain to put back on! Drives me crazy! A few months
ago, "Queen Martha" showed the way she allegedly does it -- using ribbons, I
think, inside 2 corners of the comforter.

Anybody tried this or have a good way to do it? Sew them or pin them? Ribbon
or cord? Two "short corners" or two long corners? Or 3 or 4? Plus I think
she did something on the outside, too. Whatever and however, it looked
logical, functional, quick and pretty.

Any help would be appreciated before I tear my hair out. Thanks.
