ISO: Question: Rolls

How do you make you roll LOOK like a pretty
roll shape. I've tried different recipes
and mine taste good but tend to spread
too wide when I put the dough onto the
baking sheet. I even baked some in a muffin
pan & that was better except they are
crispy on the sides too & can get hard
when cold.
