Remertopf Instructions and Recipes

Does anyone know something about the use of a Remertopf.
It is a clay-like container for baking meats, such as chicken, and presumably vegetables. I am looking for instructions for it's use and any possible recipies to give to a relative who inherited it, has limited knowlege of it and also does not have use of the internet.
Thank you for any information you may be able to provide.
