ISO: Silpat vs teflon sheet????

I am interested in purchasing a Silpat and went to a restaurant supply store where they had teflon sheets (paper thin) which restaurants use for toasters and baking.

I have been to the Martha (Stewart)-by-Mail and seen the Silpat in stores. What I need to know is if anyone has had personal experience with either of these items, especially the teflon sheets who might be able to explain the details of the pros and cons between the products.
