liners
Misc.Enjoyed reading the posting ..... I have looked at Silpat but don'tthink I bake enough to use it ... and it being just one size would be a drawback to me.
I did buy a bunch of the telfon (dark) liners a year or 2 ago when I first heard about them. One of the discount stores had a good special on them and I ended up with linersfor cake pans (tho they must be 8'and my pans 9' -or else9 and my pans 10!!! And 2 of the larger sheet ones -- 2 different sizes. I used them a lot at first ... and they are easyto clean. However, as stated with certain cookies it is harder to see. What I did use them for a lot was certain breads .... i.e. WET doughs! We like to make afocaccia (sour dough) that is so wet .... that if I put iton a cornmeal dusted peel it would NOT peel! So the telfon works fine (as does parchment).
Itis great to read allabout the pros and cons ofsome of these products. Thanks for your posting.
