ISO: simple cold finger foods.

I volunteered to put together a reception for students and their parents after a school awards program. I was thinking that about 50 people will attend and there will be a cake. I wanted to serve cold finger foods and punch that people of all ages will like. Any ideas? Also any ideas for favors? The event is a National Honor Society Program. Please somebody tell me something they have done in the past that worked. Thanks!
