Thank You: Dinner last night was YOUR chili recipe!!

Misc.
So nice to hear from you, dear Gina!! We just love it here in Asheville. The view from our apartment is soooooooooooo beautiful with the fabulous displays of Mother Nature!! SInce I'm a lifetime native of New Orleans, Louisiana, this is my first experience with a REAL season change!! I'm so anxious to get our business started so we can start serving up some wonderful meals to the kind people of Asheville.

We have met the most wonderful people here...so kind, polite and friendly!!

I made your chili recipe last night that I had copied over two years ago!! I didn't have all the exact ingredients, so I had to make some minor changes, but the result was just fabulous!! I topped each serving with some shredded Cheddar and Jack cheeses and a nice dallop of sourcream....topped the whole thing off with a small handful of regular size Frito chips!
To help pass the time while we wait for our business to get going, I have been spending a lot of time organizing my recipe collection. I printed most of the "keepers" and put them in plastic sleeves and catagorized them in separate binders. It is simply amazing to see how many great contributions have come form this great cooking site! THANKS BETSY and Your Husband for doing such a great job!!
