Recipe: Swedish Apple Pie - No Crust (1985)

SWEDISH APPLE PIE - NO CRUST

1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups (heaping) sliced apples
1 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup margarine, melted
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup flour
1 egg, slightly beaten

Grease 9 inch pie plate with oleo. Fill 2/3 full with sliced apples. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon each sugar and cinnamon.

In a bowl mix 1 cup sugar with melted margarine and nuts, adding flour, egg and salt. Spread over apples.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until golden brown.
