but i have to tell you that we chinese don't really use that much oyster sauce, in fact!!! not all chinese i must say. (don't reckon taiwanese use it as much as malaysian chinese. mom didn't even have one bottle until recent year!) it's more a southern chinese thing, esp for the canton provance, i think. cantonese are big on it. (and HK used to be part of canton province. then the british took it and then now it's back... so even we chinese think good oyster sauce should be from HK.) anyway, so i won't say that we chinese don't really get cancer from it... and i don't know if i will trust LKK untill more tests have been done and it's (oster sauce) been proven safe.

dunno anything about the vegetarian procuts...

ps: you are very good in doing research on the net... wish i were that good! ^_^
